DAY 1 : Arrival, Addis Ababa

DAY 2 : Addis Ababa


After breakfast head for the sightseeing of Addis Ababa, namely to the former capital Entoto; where you can see the mud made palace of Emperor Minilik II and the museum filled with royal family gifts and costumes, the trinity cathedral where Emperor Haile Selasse and his family body rests. Lunch break and then proceed to the Africa’s biggest open-air market called “Merkato”, the national Museum, where the 3.2 million years fossil of Lucy and other older fossils are displayed and finally to the Ethnographic museum where you learn the life style f Ethiopia’s 85 tribes. In the evening attend a famous traditional restaurant where you can see live dancing of different tribes with in Ethiopia & enjoy spicy foods too. DAY 3 : Drive from Addis Ababa to Awash National Park


After breakfast head to Awash national park, that has great potential of birds and nice place to spot Oryx, gazelles, baboons an also admire the Kereyu gorge and Awash river falls too. Day 4: Drive back to Addis Ababa

Day 5: Fly from Addis Ababa to Bahir Dar


Early in the morning take a flight to Bahir Dar, a newly bustling city acting as capital for the Amhara people. Proceed for a boat trip on Lake Tana, the source of Blue-Nile river to visit the 16th century monastery of “Ura Kidane Mihret” , known for its colorful painting from the bible stories and dating back to more than 300 years old. Take lunch break and then head to the Blue-Nile falls to admire the breath taking scene and back to Bahir Dar. DAY 6 : Drive to the city of Gondar


Drive to the city of Gondar established during the 17th century. Up on arrival start to explore the medieval period castle compound. Have lunch break and then start the afternoon by visiting the colorful church of Debre-Birhan Selasse build with castle style, the Ethiopian Jews village and also the open-air market. DAY 7 : Drive to Simien Mountains National Park


Drive to the Simien mountains national park known for its breath taking scenery and hosting the 4th biggest African mountain called “Ras Dashen”. The park also hosts the endemic mammals of Gelada baboon and also the Walia Ibex. Then back to Gondar for overnight stay. DAY 8 : Fly to Lalibela

DAY 9 : Fly back to Addis Ababa


Fly back to Addis Ababa. Have sightseeing to the St. George cathedral museum, shopping time and later be transferred to airport
